Integrative Somatic Psychotherapy Master Class
Step-by-step embodied healing with Abi Blakeslee and special guest Peter Levine

When clients feel overwhelmed by trauma, talk alone isn’t going to do very much. We have to go to the unspoken voice of our bodies.
— Peter Levine, developer of Somatic Experiencing®

Over the past several years, our field’s leading trauma experts have shown us how crucial it is for clinicians to work through the body to achieve full trauma relief.

But for many therapists, somatic therapy can seem baffling, requiring us to be able to track nearly unnoticeable shifts in posture, physiology, and micromovements — both in our clients’ bodies and our own.

Renowned trauma healer and trainer Abi Blakeslee has spent her career honing the key somatic skills that lead to deep relief and repair. Mentored by Peter Levine and trained in the field’s most widely used body-based approaches (including Somatic Experiencing®, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Hakomi, Integral Somatic Psychology, and Polyvagal-Informed Therapy)…

…she’s developed an integrative approach that combines the most effective somatic interventions into a framework that any therapist can learn and apply in practice.

Now in this unique Master Class, you can join Abi in the therapy room and experience somatic healing in action with real trauma clients.

Get a front-row seat to see Abi work with today’s challenging forms of trauma, including generational trauma, survivor guilt, relational trauma within a couples therapy session, and trauma-informed work with a neurodiverse client.

Register today for this rare opportunity to join one of the premier healers from the next generation of somatic therapists!

What Your Colleagues Are Saying About Abi Blakeslee's Somatic Therapy Trainings...

Abi’s presentation was organized, clear, warm, and full of information.

Amazing!!! I loved the videos and loved the speaker
I walked away with concrete, applicable tools, and understanding. I love that the content was illustrated through videos of client sessions.
I loved that she had videos of actual sessions and could break them down and explain her approach as we watched it versus just telling us about it — that is a perfect learning tool!

WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER IN THIS COURSE

This course gave me the confidence I was missing when it came to using somatic approaches. I had read about them but wasn’t sure how to apply them in practice. Seeing the real client sessions and hearing Abi explain her decisions step by step made everything click. The tools are practical, effective, and immediately usable. My clients have noticed the difference, and I feel much more grounded as a therapist. This is an investment that pays back in every session I conduct.

This course gave me a new lens through which to view trauma. I appreciated the module on medical trauma, as I work with many clients who have experienced difficult health journeys. The practical somatic interventions helped me support clients in reconnecting with their bodies in ways that felt safe and empowering. I also found the emphasis on self-care for practitioners extremely valuable. It reminded me to take better care of myself, which in turn benefits my clients.

I wasn’t sure if an online course could deliver the depth I needed, but this master class absolutely did. The behind-the-scenes therapist-to-therapist conversations made it easy to understand why certain choices were made. It felt like I was being mentored by Abi herself. The combination of academic grounding and practical demonstrations makes this course worth every penny. I’ve already recommended it to several colleagues.

As a marriage and family therapist, I was impressed by how relevant this course is to couples work. The session with Christine and Cliff showed me exactly how to guide partners through trauma recovery together. Too often, couples therapy ignores the body, but this training demonstrates why somatic interventions are essential. It has already improved my ability to help couples reconnect and heal. This is an invaluable resource for anyone working with relationships and trauma.

This course bridges the gap between theory and practice beautifully. I’ve studied Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing separately, but this was the first time I saw them integrated in such a seamless way. Abi’s ability to track subtle somatic shifts is inspiring, and she explains her thought process clearly. The module with Stefi, the neurodiverse client, was especially helpful, as I have several clients on the spectrum. This gave me confidence to adapt my methods effectively.

I loved how this course emphasized the importance of the therapist’s own body awareness. Learning how to use my own somatic responses as a tool in therapy has made my work more effective and less draining. The exercises are practical and don’t require special equipment, which means I can integrate them right away. The balance of Abi’s teaching style with Peter Levine’s insights creates a truly unique learning experience. This training is essential for anyone who wants to deepen their trauma work.

The Integrative Somatic Psychotherapy Master Class is outstanding. The lessons are detailed yet easy to follow, and the videos are invaluable. As someone working with both adults and adolescents, I found the strategies adaptable across different client needs. The discussions about implicit memory and how it shows up in therapy were particularly enlightening. I have already applied these methods and have seen significant progress in clients who were previously resistant to traditional talk therapy. Highly recommended.

I’ve been practicing therapy for over 20 years, and I can honestly say this is one of the most practical and inspiring courses I’ve taken. It reminded me why I became a therapist in the first place. Seeing trauma heal through the body is incredible, and the techniques taught here make it possible to facilitate that transformation. My clients have noticed the difference, and sessions now feel more dynamic and healing. I am so grateful to Abi and Peter for sharing their expertise in this accessible way.

This course provides a rare blend of theory and practice. Too often, trainings are either academic or overly simplistic, but here you get the best of both worlds. Watching Abi work with real clients gave me confidence that I could do the same. The structure of the modules is logical and builds skills progressively. I found the module on generational trauma particularly moving, and it gave me new ways to approach cultural and family-based issues in therapy. A must-have resource for modern therapists.

One of the best professional trainings I’ve ever taken. The focus on survivor guilt and medical trauma was extremely relevant to my work in healthcare settings. Abi demonstrates such compassion while still guiding clients toward real breakthroughs. The inclusion of mirror neuron research and how it relates to caretakers was eye-opening. I left with a stronger understanding of how to support not only my clients but also myself as a practitioner. I highly recommend this for anyone working in trauma recovery.

I was initially skeptical about somatic therapy, but this master class turned me into a believer. The depth of knowledge and the way it’s presented make it easy to understand and apply. I especially valued the couple’s therapy module, which showed how somatic interventions can strengthen relationships impacted by trauma. I’ve already applied some of these techniques in my sessions and have seen couples reconnect in meaningful ways. This course gives therapists the tools to address trauma at its roots rather than just the symptoms.

This master class has been life-changing for me as a therapist. The integration of Somatic Experiencing®, Polyvagal Theory, and other body-based approaches into one framework is exactly what I needed. Abi’s mentorship under Peter Levine is evident in her mastery, yet she adds her own unique touch. The conversation with Peter Levine himself was inspiring and gave me practical exercises I’ve already used with clients. The course is well-structured, engaging, and accessible even for those new to somatic therapy. It is an essential resource for trauma work.

As a social worker, I often see clients who are overwhelmed and stuck in trauma loops. Before this course, I felt limited in how I could help beyond talk therapy. Learning these somatic techniques has completely changed my approach. I can now guide clients to notice body sensations, regulate their nervous systems, and release trauma in safe and structured ways. The explanations are thorough, and the video demonstrations make it easy to see the methods in practice. I would recommend this to any professional wanting to expand their toolkit.

This training exceeded my expectations. The course goes far beyond traditional talk therapy by showing how to recognize the body’s hidden language. As a counselor working with trauma survivors, I often felt frustrated when clients couldn’t verbalize their experiences. The modules gave me tools to track micro-movements and nervous system cues, helping me intervene in more effective ways. I particularly appreciated the module on working with neurodiverse clients, as it provided strategies I could use immediately. This has been one of the most impactful courses I’ve invested in.

As a practicing psychotherapist, I found this master class to be incredibly transformative. Abi Blakeslee’s approach, combined with Peter Levine’s wisdom, brings clarity to somatic interventions in ways I had not experienced before. The real client demonstrations were especially powerful, showing how subtle somatic shifts can completely change the course of a session. I’ve started integrating these techniques into my practice, and the feedback from clients has been overwhelmingly positive. They feel more seen, more connected, and more empowered to release old trauma patterns. This is more than just theory—it’s practical, applicable knowledge.
