Who should takes the course

This course equips you with tools to help clients regulate the nervous system, restore equilibrium and reclaim their bodies.

Learn How to:

Create a therapeutic environment that makes clients feel safe and grounded using simple exercises

Incorporate somatic techniques to help clients process traumatic events on a deeper level

Recognize contradictions in what clients say with words vs. what they’re communicating with their bodies

Assess where clients are stuck in fight, flight, or freeze—and resolve these physiological states

Track changes in physiological stages and use interoceptive cues to guide and support your work

Reorient clients to the here-and-now so they can regulate themselves and feel more alive

Frank Ochberg, MD

“Peter Levine teaches and exemplifies a wise, experienced and kindly approach to working with trauma survivors. Several important and useful concepts are covered, including the creation of a safe space, the timing of attention to traumatic issues, as well as the need to pay close attention to visible expressions of tension, confusion and, conversely, relaxation and understanding. He has a deep understanding of the impact of trauma in all its varieties and possesses a mastery of treatment techniques.”

- FRANK OCHBERG, MD, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Michigan State University and author

John D. Lentz, D Min

“Levine masterfully works with the soldier using the somatic-experiencing technique that he developed during the last 40 years… Levine’s knowledge of trauma and how it affects the body is amazing, and he uses it with precision to bring out the trauma and heal the body and mind. It is a respectful and powerful approach… This two video set offers new tools and perspectives about trauma and healing. I recommend this video and I already have told several people about it.”

An engaging and well-structured learning module. The topics were presented logically, each building on the previous lesson, which made complex material accessible. I particularly enjoyed the focus on embodied learning—it reminded me to be present and aware even while studying. The instructor’s examples brought clarity to the main ideas, and the resources provided are excellent for future reference. I would recommend this to both new and experienced practitioners who wish to refine their trauma-informed approach.

The content of this module is solid, comprehensive, and clearly organized. I appreciated how the instructor presented both the science and the art of working with trauma-related responses. Each section included practical applications, which made it easy to translate knowledge into real-life sessions. Some terminology was advanced but explained well enough for non-specialists to follow. I left the course feeling inspired and more confident in addressing complex emotional patterns in my clients.

I was drawn to this course because of its focus on somatic understanding, and it lived up to the promise. The way the lessons combine neuroscience, therapy principles, and self-reflection made for a well-rounded learning experience. I particularly liked the guided exercises that invited personal awareness before applying them professionally. A few sections could benefit from more examples, but overall it’s a transformative program that encourages both skill development and personal growth.

The course offers a strong foundation in understanding how emotions and physiology intersect in the healing process. I found the demonstrations particularly useful, as they illustrated the nuances that words alone can’t convey. The platform was easy to navigate, and each module flowed logically into the next. Occasionally, I wanted a bit more depth in certain areas, but overall the material was comprehensive. This training has already influenced my approach to working with stress and trauma in practical settings.

I thoroughly enjoyed this module and found it to be a valuable addition to my continuing education. The instructor’s voice and teaching style made even complex ideas easy to absorb. The structure encourages learners to pause, reflect, and connect theory to practice. While some concepts required extra review, the content quality was consistently high. The examples were realistic and grounded in actual practice, helping me feel more confident applying these insights to client work. It’s a resource I’ll revisit often.

What stood out to me most was how relevant and current the information felt. Many educational programs rely heavily on theory, but this one bridges theory and real-world practice seamlessly. The instructor communicates with both empathy and expertise, making even advanced material approachable. I also appreciated the subtle emphasis on mindfulness and body awareness, which enriched the learning process. The discussions and reflective prompts challenged me to think critically about my own methods and assumptions.

This program is one of the most thoughtfully designed I’ve encountered. Every section builds upon the last with clear intentions, guiding learners to not only understand concepts but to apply them in meaningful ways. I found the instructor’s explanations to be accessible without oversimplifying the subject matter. The mix of video lectures and written materials kept me engaged. It also inspired me to explore further readings and practice the exercises in my daily work. Highly recommended for professionals seeking growth.

I came to this module hoping to strengthen my understanding of trauma-related therapeutic work, and I got much more than that. The instructor’s approach was compassionate yet rigorous, and the use of case studies made complex ideas easy to relate to. I particularly valued the sections on body-based awareness and self-regulation. These lessons have already improved how I conduct my sessions. The format encouraged reflection rather than memorization, which made it a truly engaging experience.

This educational module exceeded my expectations. The material is laid out clearly, building from basic concepts to deeper applications in a way that feels intuitive. I appreciated how the instructor emphasized practical examples alongside theory, which made it easier to integrate the lessons into my professional work. The pacing was just right—never rushed, but never dull. The downloadable resources were also excellent, providing a framework I continue to reference. It’s rare to find such a balanced combination of clarity, structure, and depth in one course.
